Clara Stewardson is an aspiring author living in Bordeaux, France. She grew up in a multicultural family, half Scottish, half French, and completely cat-crazy. She graduated from Business School while working four days a week at Disneyland Paris, where she wrote the team’s Newsletter. COVID-19, forced her to move into a more grown-up job, selling plumbing for the pharmaceutical industry. But in her spare time, Clara reads, writes, and plots her conquest of the world’s bookshelves with her cat, Charlie.
She’s a regular member of the Bordeaux English Writing Club, a fervent history enthusiast, and a castle crawler.
Charlie is a calico cat who is very aware of how cute she is and will use it to her advantage. Charlie had a difficult start in life and was regularly bullied by her siblings. She has since found a forever home in Bordeaux, with a suitable human companion. Her favourite things are her paté, her radiator-hamac, and her jellyfish toy.
She is Clara’s current quality and deadline manager, and moonlights as an alarm clock.
